Joined Ubiquitous AI Lab (Prof. Taesik Gong) as a research intern.

After taking the Data Structures course in my sophomore second semester, I came to deeply respect Professor Taesik Gong as an outstanding educator.

During the course, he introduced his lab and mentioned the strengths of On-device AI, which completely captivated me and led me to apply for the lab.

At the time, Professor Gong was a newly appointed faculty member, and the lab had just been established — I became the very first intern.

Now, I’m learning and growing a lot while conducting research in this lab with an excellent professor and brilliant, passionate peers. It’s been a meaningful and rewarding experience.

2학년 2학기에 데이터 구조 수업을 들은 후, 공태식 교수님이 정말 훌륭한 분이라는 생각이 들었다.

수업 중 교수님께서 연구실을 소개하시며 On-device AI의 강점을 언급하셨는데, 푹 빠져들어서 연구실에 지원하게 되었다.

당시 교수님도 신임 교수님이셨고, 연구실 역시 신생이었기에 내가 첫 번째 인턴이 되었다.

지금은 이 연구실에서 정말 훌륭한 교수님과 함께, 똑똑하고 열정적인 다른 학생들과 연구하며 많은 것을 배우고 성장하고 있다.
